ChatGPT connects to remote MCP servers through developer mode connectors (Plus, Pro, Team and Enterprise plans).
Server URL: https://certikit.io/mcp
- Settings → Connectors → Advanced → enable Developer mode.
- Create a connector: name it, paste the server URL, choose OAuth as the authentication and leave client credentials empty (the server supports dynamic client registration). Tick "I trust this application".
- Save; ChatGPT opens the server's sign-in page. Sign in and approve the workspace.
- In a chat, open More → Developer mode and switch the connector on.
ChatGPT shows each tool call and asks before running tools that are not marked read-only (update_org_profile and the gap-assessment tools): confirm them.
First three things to ask
- "List the standards available to me."
- "List the mandatory documents for ISO 27001 and which clauses they cover."
- "Fetch ISMS-DOC-05-4 and draft it for my organisation" (uses
get_document; one document per call, daily limit applies).
What you will not get
No text from the ISO standard itself, and no original toolkit files: templates come back as Markdown with guidance for ChatGPT to tailor, every answer cites the document and toolkit version.
