Cursor supports remote MCP servers with OAuth.
Add to .cursor/mcp.json (project) or ~/.cursor/mcp.json (global):
{
"mcpServers": {
"iso-compliance": {
"url": "https://certikit.io/mcp"
}
}
}
Open Settings → MCP, find iso-compliance and click Authenticate; Cursor opens the server's sign-in page and stores the token. The tools then appear in the agent's tool list.
First three things to ask
- "Use list_standards to tell me what I can ask about."
- "Explain ISO 27001 A.8.9 and which template implements it."
- "Start a gap assessment for Cyber Essentials and ask me the questions one at a time."
What you will not get
No ISO standard text and no original toolkit files; templates come back as Markdown through get_document, one per call, with a daily limit per workspace.
